Juiceman Junior JM400: Review

The Juiceman Junior JM400 is a very simply designed juice extractor that is available at a very reasonable price. The juicer parts are so crafted that they are quite easy to clean. The centrifugal juicer is made with parts that are well-crafted to allow wash-ability. The juicer is quite easy to clean. Assembling and dissembling it is a breeze. The juicer is equipped with 1/4horsepower motor that gives two speed controls. The faster one is for juicing hard fruits like carrots, apples and like produces. The lower one is for juicing softer fruits.

All you have to do is plug in the machine and drop the produce through the chute for juicing. You can put in whole fruits and vegetables without slicing and dicing. The chute is wide enough to take in whole fruits.

 The pulp that gets accumulated in the juicer after juicing, comes out in the rear end of the unit in a collection cup. You can use a veggie bag inside the pulp container that will spare you the hassle of cleaning it. The juice comes out through the spout into the cup at the front of the juicer. The juice cup has a pulp shield that separates the forth or foam from the yummy juice.

 You can clean the juice parts in warm water with little soap and sponge. Most juicer parts are made of plastic. The juicing basket however is made of the stainless steel. You will need to use the brush given with the juicer to take out the food particles sticking to it. The juicer makes a great apple juice, orange, juice and carrot juice. You can experiment variety of other juicers with the juicer. You can also try the combo juices.

The only shortcoming about the juicer is the juice cup is too small. The juicer is however is made for household use and not for commercial purposes. So the limitation is size is well understood. But you need to be conscious that the juicer does not overflow from the cup.
